The Annapolis Symphony Orchestra, along with its 70 professional musicians presents an evening of holiday music. The guest artist is Dr. Gilbert E. Pryor, Jr., a distinguished Professor of Music and Coordinator of the Music Technology Program on the faculty of Bowie State University.

The repertoire includes:

  • Émile Waldteufel – The Skaters’ Waltz
  • Victor Herbert – March of the Toys from Babes in Toyland, arr. by O. Langey
  • Ralph Vaughan Williams – Fantasia on “Greensleeves”
  • Duke Ellington – King of the Magi from The Three Black Kings
  • Nikolai Rimsky-Korsakov – Polonaise, Daybreak, and Procession from Christmas Eve
  • Lucas Richman – Hanukkah Festival Overture
  • Leroy Anderson – A Trumpeter’s Lullaby, arr. by P. Lang with Dr. Gilbert Pryor, trumpet
