Free Splash Pads Around Orlando

1. Apopka Splash Pad—Apopka

Designed with separate zones for different age ranges, the Apopka splash pad includes fun water features such as a Mega Soaker, Splash Blasters, Fun-Brella, and Spray Tunnel. Additional features at Kit Land Nelson Park include a playground, picnic areas, gazebo, and racquetball courts. The splash pad is currently open weekends only. Starting May 29 through August 6, 2023, it will be open daily from 10am-5pm, and weekends only from August 12 through October 29, 2023. Groups less than 10 people get free entry; camps and groups of 10 or more pay an admission of $2 per person.

2. Barnett Park—Orlando

Located in West Orlando, this gated splash pad is free of charge and is surrounded by chairs and umbrellas, so parents can relax while their kids splash. In addition to the splash pad, there is also a playground, disc golf course, soccer fields, basketball courts, fishing pier, and walking trails. The splash pad offers four timed sessions per day from 10am-6:45pm (closed 2-3pm). 

3. Bithlo Community Park—Orlando

Bithlo Community Park features a large gated splash pad with no entry fee, complete with a jellyfish interactive water structure. Other amenities include a covered playground, skate park, fishing area, picnic pavilions, and sports fields. The splash pad offers four timed sessions per day from 10am-6:45pm (closed 2-3pm).  

4. Capehart Park—Orlando

*Updated 2023: This splash pad is currently closed for repairs. Located in East Orlando, this park includes a gated sprinkler park with an adjacent covered playground area. There are also walking trails and a butterfly garden. 

5. Center Lake Park—Oviedo

Oviedo on the Park's free splash pad at Center Lake Park is open daily from 9am to 9pm. There is an adjacent playground, large lawn games, a dog park, and a boat house with paddle boat rentals.

6. Community Park—DeBary

This small park in DeBary has a gated splash pad with interactive water features. It is open 10am-6pm Tuesday through Sunday, from March 10 through October 30, 2023. The park has open green space, picnic tables, and restrooms by the splash pad.

7. Disney Springs—Lake Buena Vista

There are two sprinkler pads at Disney Springs that kids can splash around in, including bubble fountains and Mickey sorcery fountains. One is located near Earl of Sandwich and a smaller one is located behind the Christmas store. Kids can also ride the nearby carousel and train at a small cost.

8. Kissimmee Lakefront Park—Kissimmee

This nature-themed splash pad is located in beautiful Lakefront Park, complete with a fishing pier, large playground, pavilions, walking trails, and a snack bar nearby.

9. Lake David Park—Groveland

Visit this fun, free Orlando splash pad at Lake David Park. The park also features a playground, volleyball court, basketball court, and skate park. The splash pad is open daily, from dawn to dusk.

10. Reiter Park—Longwood

Reiter Park has a gated splash pad that is free to enter. Amenities include a playground, fishing pier, walking trails, pavilions, tennis courts, and a basketball court. The splash pad's operating hours are 10am-6pm Tuesday through Sunday.

11. St. Cloud Lakefront Park—St. Cloud

St. Cloud's large lakeside park boasts a fun and free colorful surf-themed splash pad. Little ones will love the small water slide and interactive water features. Other park amenities include a playground, sand beach, biking trails, fishing pier, sand volleyball, and concession stand.

12. Winter Garden Splash Pad—Winter Garden

Downtown Winter Garden has a free sprinkler park area open daily from 9am to 9pm. There is a large pavilion next to the splash pad as well. Families can walk around the downtown area for lunch and ice cream after visiting the park. There is also a farmers' market on Saturday mornings next to the splash pad.

Orlando Splash Pads with Small Fees

13. Champions Splash Park—Clermont

$2 per person

This colorful gated splash pad has multiple water features and several picnic tables. The splash pad is next to Waterfront Park, complete with a paved walking/biking trail, playground, fishing piers, and beach area. The splash pad is open daily from May 26 through August 11, 2023, Monday-Thursday from 10am to 6pm, and Friday-Sunday from 10am-5pm. 

14. Downey Park—Orlando

March-October: $1 per person with timed sessions; November-February: free

*Update 2023: This splash pad is closed until further notice for repairs. This gated splash playground includes several types of water features as well as shaded seating. Other park amenities include a playground for kids of all abilities, sand volleyball, skate park, dog park, basketball court, and picnic pavilions. The splash pad offers four timed sessions per day from 10am-6:45pm (closed 2-3pm).  

15. Dr. P. Phillips Community Park—Orlando

$1 per person with timed sessions

With an array of interactive water structures, kids are sure to enjoy this colorful splash pad. The park also includes a dry playground area, hiking trails, pavilions, sports fields, and a dog park. The splash pad offers four timed sessions per day from 10am-6:45pm (closed 2-3pm).

16. Eustis Aquatic Center—Eustis

$2 ages 11 and under; $3 ages 12 and up (cash only; admission includes entry to splash pad and pool)

Situated on Lake Eustis, this gated, splash pad has water cannons, dump buckets, and an interactive sailboat structure. Nearby Ferran Park has a playground, open greenspace, and boardwalks over the lake. Take a short walk to downtown Eustis to enjoy lunch or ice cream. The splash pad and pool are open Monday through Friday, 11:30am-2:30pm, and Saturdays from 11:30am-4pm.

17. Fort Mellon Park—Sanford

$2 per person

This gated lakeside splash pad is next to a large playground and has plenty of picnic tables and seating. The park has two basketball courts. Take a walk along the Sanford Riverwalk to enjoy the beauty of Lake Monroe. Downtown Sanford is a short walk away to grab lunch or a treat. The splash pad is open daily through September, and weekends through October. Operating hours are Monday-Saturday 10am to 6pm, and Sunday noon to 6pm.

18. Lincoln Avenue Pool & Splash Pad—Mount Dora

$2 per person

19. Torcaso Park—Winter Springs 

$3 per person for unincorporated Winter Springs residents and non-residents; free for incorporated Winter Springs residents

This neighborhood park has a gated splash pad, as well as covered playground, all newly updated. Other amenities include basketball courts, football field, soccer field, and fishing pier. The splash playground is open daily in the summer from May 30 through September 5, 2023 (weather permitting), 10am-7pm.

20. Trailblazer Park—Lake Mary

$2 per person

Trailblazer Park includes a gated splash pad with interactive water features and an adjacent playground area and pavilion, perfect for parties. There’s a sports complex across the parking lot with a skate park, tennis center, baseball fields, basketballs courts, and batting cages. The splash pad is currently open Friday-Sunday from 10am-4pm. Starting May 29 through August 6, 2023, it will be open daily from 10am-4pm.   

21. Trotwood Park—Winter Springs

$3 per person for unincorporated Winter Springs residents and non-residents; free for incorporated Winter Springs residents

This large shaded park has a splash pad, with interactive features and improved surfacing. There is also a woodland-themed covered playground, sports fields, fishing pier, and picnic pavilions. The splash playground is open daily for the summer from May 30 through September 5, 2023, weather permitting, from 10am-7pm.

22. Wooton Park—Tavares

$2 per person

*Closed through mid-July 2023 for re-construction. The seaplane play structure is the defining feature of this splash park. It is gated and includes two small water slides and several interactive water elements. It is situated right next to a gated playground area (which is also currently under re-construction). There is a covered pavilion and several restaurants within walking distance.
