Looking for the best things to do on Long Island this weekend? Here are some family-friendly events and activities to add to your schedule.

Seek out some old-fashioned holiday fun at the Old-Fashoined Babylon Village Christmas or the Magic of Montauk Holiday Celebration this weekend. Festive Hanukkah celebrations light up Manhasset and Brightwaters as well. Peppa, George, Mummy Pig, and Daddy Pig are throwing a Peppa Pig Sing-Along Party and you are invited to the Tilles Center to join in the fun.

Look up in the sky - it's a bird, it's a ... Santa! The jolly ol' fella turns into Flying Santa at the Fire Island Lighthouse this weekend. Or experience fun photo ops, games, and other nostalgic fun at Christmas House Long Island, housed at the Broadway Commons this holiday season.

We've got plenty more ways to make merry in our Long Island Kids' Guide to Christmas and the Holidays, including our favorite holiday lights drive-thrus and Christmas light shows and the best places to take pictures with Santa on Long Island.
